Key Interventions
1. ST Workforce training and resources
o Develop a competency-based framework for speech therapy practice in Cambodia
o Develop and deliver 2 specialized ST Workforce training programs: hospital-based (Level 2) and health centre & community-based (Level 1)
o Provide ongoing networking, coaching, and professional development opportunities for the health and rehabilitation staff who completed the training
2. ST Services
o Piloting speech therapy services within provincial government health or rehabilitation facilities in target provinces
o provide ST screening and limited scope of therapy services, referral, implement ST-focused parent groups and community awareness campaigns
o Advocate for the integration of ST referral and services within health, rehab, and education systems
3. ST evidence-based
o Build evidence base: Research the need, service provision, and workforce of speech therapy in Cambodia
o Monitor and evaluate level 1 & 2 training programs and pilot ST services
o Share the research for Cambodian ST profession development: locally and internationally
