Outcomes

Final outcomes: Provide the final outcomes expected to be realized by the project.

The project aims to strengthen the capacity of FCF sub-grant partners, and their government and NGO counterparts, to respond appropriately to the needs of children with disabilities and their families within their mission to promote family-based care.

The project aims for the following outcomes:

OUTCOME 1: FCF partners use appropriate disability assessment tools and referral pathways for support services supporting timely identification and planning for children with disabilities across reintegration, family separation prevention, and family-based alternative care and permanency planning.

OUTCOME 2: Increased capacity of the provincial stakeholders, Gov and NGO staff to identify, provide essential services (identification and information), and refer children with disabilities and their families to specialized and disability-inclusive services.

OUTCOME 3: Increased coordination and provision of technical rehabilitation and disability support within the target province, including documenting unmet rehabilitation service needs.

OUTCOME 4: Awareness-raising and training initiatives for government counterparts, caregivers, and care-leavers produced by project partners are consistent with principles of disability inclusion and therapeutic/nurturing care.

OUTCOME 5: Children with disabilities living in Battambang and Siem Reap have access to rehabilitation and specialist services to maximize their participation and development opportunities.
